2023 The Rotary Projects Team had a rewarding visit to AFESOL’s latest centre in Estepona. RCM-G was represented by Jane Sim, Martin Nathan and Joyce Versteeg, who also acted as translator. The building was provided without charge by the Estepona Town Hall and refurbished by AFESOL. It provides daily help currently to approx 40 people, mainly young although they help people 18-60 officially and occasionally younger than 18 with the consent of parent or guardian. It will be a great pleasure for us to help them and they will provide a list of things they need, some of which we identified on our visit.

ROTARY in action.

From our October 2023 Swing Ball we raised EUR 9K for mental health. We used EUR 7.1K to equip AFESOL’s Estepona centre with a hot water boiler, fridge, washing machine, storage shelves, chairs, tables, an outside awning, exercise equipment and laptops.
