In 2020-21 the Club bought bedspreads for the dormitories for 510€.
In 2021-22 a donation of almost 500€ secured a range of flip flops and beach towels with which they were delighted.
Founded in 1950 by Brother Carlos Fernández Dorador in order to welcome minors and young people with socio-family problems, offering them a family home and training that enables their future work and social integration. Their motto:
If you plan for a year, plant wheat,
If you plan for a decade, plant trees,
If you plan for a life, educate children.
The ‘City of Children’ offers both educational and residential services, with a college and two homes. It is supported by public and private bodies. It is no longer an orphanage but a home for refugee children aged 11-17.
