Rotary Club Marbella-Guadalmina, as an Ambassador Club of the worldwide Rotary movement EndPlasticSoup, has developed a fish sculpture as a practical tool to collect waste plastic and raise awareness about this significant problem. Plastic waste never goes away, it just turns into microplastics which can end up in the food chain and even in our bloodstream.
This eye-catching sculpture aims to actively engage in cleaning up plastic waste while also drawing attention to the issue. Even people who normally might ignore litter bins enjoy ‘feeding’ the fish with their plastic waste.
Please join us to help raise awareness of this important issue and prevent even more plastic from ending up in nature.
The official inauguration of the fish will be at 11.00hrs on Thursday 29 June.
